Religion Still Important in Presidential Politics

Religion and faith are emerging as important issues in the 2008 presidential race. Just yesterday that were news articles about winning the Catholic vote, Mitt Romney's religious delimma, and the buzz that Mike Huckabee made at the Value Voters Summitt over the weekend. Some are even talking about Huckabee in the top tier of republican candidates. Wouldn't be interesting in Huckabee won in Iowa?

Today there was an article about Rudy Guiliani and abortion.

I think it is important that religion and faith continue to play important roles in American politics and I'm glad to see front page news coverage of candidates' religious positions.

Also, this week the Christian Fiction Blog Alliance is introducting Illuminated by Matt Bronleewe. I hope you get a chance to pick up a copy of this book.
